Another one done, one more to go...

Some of you may recall when I wrote last year that I am the queen of unfinished projects. It's really true. I love starting new projects...the ideas, brainstorming, creativity, etc. But I often get bored when the tediousness sets in and then I am off to something else. Well, one of my unofficial New Year's Resolutions is to finish some of these projects, including this quilt. Now, this one did not sit around as long as Eli's, but it probably has a good 3 year shelf life! No more. It is done. Woohoo! I have one more unfinished quilt in the basement and it is a doozy. It is a queen size bedspread. I'll be honest, that one will take awhile. I may need a few kicks in the tush later on to finish it!

We should get together and just quilt all weekend. I have all the fabric for Bug's 100 Good wishes quilt, but I need to piece it all together. I have about 5 quilts in some form of being put together. Oh to have time to work on them without a toddler in tow.

Love to you,
Deb

PS- the interview will go up this weekend on the blog

Wow! I have no problem with people disagreeing with my political opinions, that is the beauty of the USA. But you don't even have the guts to post your name? At least I stand by my convictions openly.

Well, you know, I thought I was the "queen of unfinished projects" but I'll gladly take the role of princess. Actually since I'm much older, I probably should be queen and you can be princess! The quilt is beautiful! I have a stained glass transom that I started probably 12 years ago. It only has about 4 to six hours of work left. You have inspired me to get it finished. I'll be looking forward to your next quilt and hopefully I'll show off my transom when it's finished on my blog.

I agree with you Steph on the comment re. Obama. I too voted for that terrible guy, and I am certain that nothing could be as bad as the last 8 years. As for not signing, if you can't sign it, don't write it!!! It isn't worth a plug nickel!
I am sure you knew that your Grandma Mohr made some quilts in her time. I also have some quilts from my grandmother and her sister.
They are very precious to me and yours will be a great treasure someday too.
